GAINESVILLE, FL - Florida Atlantic University's track team continued the outdoor track season on Friday, April 5, traveling to the University of Florida which hosted the Florida Relays. The Owls' day was highlighted by Danielle Aromashodu's 400m hurdles final time of 0:59.57 which placed her as the top Sun Belt Conference finisher in the event.

Michael Vidal and Ronja Siekmann were FAU's top finishers. Vidal took 5th-place in the 1,500m, finishing in 3:50.83 which bettered his school record of 3:53.46. Siekmann took 10th-place in the javelin with a throw of 39.74m.

Chloe Sell and Meghan Bary both ran new personal bests in the 5k with times of 17:45.97 and 18:48.41, respectively.

Stacy Paton, Katie Codyre and Lauren Walton ran personal bests in the 1,500m, 3000m steeplechase and 400m hurdles. Paton finished the 1,500m in 4:46.31. Codyre ran the 3000m steeplechase in 12:01.84 and Walton finished the 400m hurdles in 1:02.53.

The team will travel to the University of Miami for the third time this season where they will compete in the UM Hurricane Alumni Invitational on April 13.
