Chloe Sell Took First-place in the Women's 5k |

CORAL GABLES, FL - Florida Atlantic University's track team competed in the University of Miami's Hurricane Invitational over the weekend. Tatiana David finished in second-place in the heptathlon, also breaking FAU's school record. Chloe Sell and Michael Vidal were the team's top finishers taking first-place in the 5k and 1,500 meter, respectively.
Florida Atlantic participated in two-days of competition beginning on Friday, March 15. David finished the heptathlon with a total score of 4,528. Sell's win in the 5k set her new personal record (17:56.43).
During Saturday's competition, Vidal took first place in the 1,500 meter with a final time of 3:55.03. The sophomore finished more than four-seconds faster than the second-place finisher.
In the women's 1,500 meter, Stacy Paton finished in second-place, setting a new personal record of 4:52.91. Valerie Dixon took fourth in the event with 4:55.58
Danielle Aromashodu took second-place in the women's 400 meter hurdles (1:00.86). Ashley Hinds, Amanda Worley, and Dana Cannon all set new personal records in both the 20 meter dash and the 100 meter.

Florida Atlantic's outdoor season will continue on Saturday, March 23 at the University of Miami's second Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Florida.
