Joelle Etienne Took Second in the Triple Jump |

CHAPEL HILL, NC. - The Florida Atlantic University track team traveled to University of North Carolina Chapel Hill over the weekend for the Kent Taylor Invitational. The Owls performance was highlighted by ten athletes that placed in the top-five for their event.
Florida Atlantic’s 4x400 meter relay team, including Danielle Aromashodu, Tanisha Coppin, Valerie Dixon, and Annalisa Myers, took first place with a final time of 3:52.82. The team’s time also placed them in second for FAU’s all-time top-10.
Annalisa Myers, Joelle Etienne and Ronja Siekmann all finished in second place at the invitational. Myers and Etienne took second in the 400 meter (57.19) and triple jump (11.03 m) respectively. Freshman Siekmann has continued to be a top competitor for the Owls with a final time of 8.65 in the 60 meter hurdles. All three set personal records in these events.
