Girls on the Run Event

FAU Women's Cross Country participated in the annual Girls on the Run 5k on Nov. 23, 2014.

Athletic Accomplishments

2014-15 (Junior):Took 18th in the 5k at the Disney Cross Country Classic with a time of 19:11.57...set a personal best time in the 5k at C-USA Championships with a time of 18:40, which earned her 46th place...ran the 6k in 22:16.50 at the NCAA South Regional Championship.

Made her FAU debut at 2012 FGCU Invitational...finished in 38th for the 5K at the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Outdoor Track Championships (19:48.54)...took ninth-place honors at the 2013 UM Hurricane Alumni Invitational (11:19.22).

Academic Accomplishments

Received academic honors for a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the spring 2012 and fall 2012 semesters.

High School Accomplishments

Ran for coach Paul Barlow...was named all-conference sophomore year...qualified for state for three years...part of school record-breaking 4x800 relay team.


Daughter of Stephen and Jill Heller...elementary education major...likes to play sports...hopes to become an elementary school teacher.
