The Florida Atlantic University track team returned to Gainesville over the weekend to compete in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.

Sophomore (2012): At the BU Valentine Invitational, finished eighth out of 48 athletes in the long jump, leaping 5.27 meters...was also 11th (of 34) in the triple jump, with a distance of 11.09 meters...had a 5.12 meter jump in the long jump and went 11.32 meters in the triple jump at the SBC Indoor Championships...third in the triple jump (11.56 meters, a new PR) and eighth in the long jump (5.20 meters) at the UM Hurricane Invitational...was ninth in the triple jump at the UM Alumni Invite (11.46 meters)...was also 11th in the long jump (5.37 meters)...set her new PR in the long jump at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational, 5.45 meters...leapt 11.45 meters in the triple jump there.
Freshman (2011): Made her Owl debut at the outdoor opener, the FAU Invitational...ran in the 200 meters (27.73) and finished second in the triple jump (11.50 meters) third in the long jump (5.50 meters), all personal bests.
High School: Ran for coach Troy Parker...set school records in the long jump and triple jump as a junior...broke both of those records as a senior.
Personal: Business major...daughter of Marie Ahrendts and Jensel Etienne...did gymnastics for nine years.
