The Florida Atlantic University track team returned to Gainesville over the weekend to compete in the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.

FAU Opens Indoor Track Season at Gator Invitational

The Owls posted a great performance with several athletes breaking into FAU's all-time top-10 and several set personal records.

Junior (2012): Finished tied for fourth at the UM Hurricane Invitational (2.89 meters).

Sophomore (2011): Had a 2.90 meter vault at Jimmy Carnes...at the FAU Invitational, finished third at 2.89 meters...tied her PR at 3.05 meters at the the UM Hurricane Invitational.

Freshman (2010): Began her FAU career with a 2.82 meter vault at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational...bested that at the FAU/FIU Invitational, finishing sixth with a top height of 2.90 meters...set her first-year PR at the UCF Invitational, at 3.05 meters.

High School: Vaulted for coach Carolista Ware...held school record in the pole vault...district champion in the pole vault, second in regionals and eighth in the state of Florida.

Personal: Finance major...born in Tampa...daughter of James and Lisa Jetmore...hopes to achieve a management position in finance.
