FAU Opens Indoor Track Season at Gator Invitational

The Owls posted a great performance with several athletes breaking into FAU's all-time top-10 and several set personal records.

Junior (2011): Finished eighth in the triple jump at the season-opening indoor meet, with a distance of 20.90 meters...also leapt 4.92 meters in long jump in that meet...had a fourth place finish in the triple jump (11.22 meters) and ninth place finish in the long jump (5.04 meters) at the first outdoor meet, the UM Hurricane Invitational...had her season-best distance in the long jump at the UNF Invitational, at 5.33 meters...also had a 10.85 meter triple jump there.

High School: Ran for coach Terry Thompson...Won district title three straight years...also appeared at state championship meet three straight years...holds school record in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, long jump, 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay...named two-time honorable mention by the Miami Herald.

Personal: Early Childhood Education major...daughter of Angela Richardson.
