The meet will be held on Friday, Jan. 23 in Gainesville, Fla.
Collegiate teams from all over the country are participating with competition beginning at 9 a.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Owls open the indoor season at the Art and Linda Maillet UNC Open on Saturday, Jan. 17 in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The women's 5k is set to begin at 9 a.m. CST, and the men's 8k will begin at 10 a.m. CST
FAU Women's Cross Country participated in the annual Girls on the Run 5k on Nov. 23, 2014.

2014-15 (Junior):Two-time C-USA Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week...helped lead the team to a second place finish at the Disney Cross Country Classic in which she took fourth out of 250 runners with a time of 18:11.37... finished third in the 5k at the USF Invitational with a time of 18:32.90 and helped secure fourth place for the team...claimed 12th in the 5k at the Mountain Dew Invitational with a season-best time of 17:50.45.
2013-14 (Sophomore): Opened the seasoncoming in fourth in in the 5K (17:30.1) at the USF Invitational and named Conference USA Female Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance...finished in the top 10 in the next three cross country meets...opened the indoor season with a personal best in the mile (5:21.33) at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational...finished second in the 5K (17:55.52) at the Akron Invitational...placed first in the 5K (18:09.94) in the Miami Hurricane Invitational...placed seventh in the Conference USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 10K (36:40.43).
High School Accomplishments
Made all-country for cross country her sophomore and senior years...a part of cross country state-qualifying team sophomore, junior and senior years...BCAA runner-up as a sophomore...17th place at state that same season...personal record is 18:58.
Daughter of Christina and Rodney Sell...biology major...born in Frederick, Maryland...plans to attend the University of Miami Medical School and become a trauma surgeon.
