The Owls performance was highlighted by ten athletes that placed in the top-five for their event.
Freshman (2012): At her first meet, the Jimmy Carnes Invitational, ran in the 55 meters (7.68) and 200 meters (27.24)...lowered her 55 time to 7.59 at the Gator Invitational and 7.57 at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships...ran a 27.15 at the Indoors in the 200...in the season's first outdoor meet, the UM Hurricane Invitational, competed in the 100 meters (12th, 12.98) and 200 meters (26.70)...her 4x400 meter team finished fourth there...competed for the first time in the 400 meters at the UNF Invitational, crossing the line at 1:01.14...set her 100 and 200 PR's at the UM Alumni Invite, at 12.93 and 26.61, respectively.
High School: Ran for Kristi Frye.
Personal: Exercise science major...born in Bronx, NY...daughter of Katherine Rodriguez and Duane Hinds...hopes to become a pharamacist and own her own business.
