Dec. 15, 2010 BOCA RATON, FL - Senior track athlete Friederike Feil won the women's 5K at the Palm Beaches Marathon Festival recently held in West Palm Beach. Feil won completed the race in 16:49, more than two minutes ahead of her closest female competitor.
The time was good for fourth over in a field of almost 700 competitors. Feil, who recently finished her cross country career for the Owls will compete as part of the track team in the spring.
