Rebecca Hallam was one of four cross country members to be named to the President's List

Florida Atlantic University’s women’s cross country squad has earned the highest grade point average out of the university’s 17 athletic teams for the fall 2011 semester. In addition, the team also had the highest percentage of student-athletes earning a 3.0 GPA or higher, along with four of the university’s eight President’s List members for the semester.

The aggregate GPA of the cross country team in the fall was 3.385, and 73.68 percent of the members of the team had at least a 3.0 for the semester.

Maria Evans, Jennifer Frame, Rebecca Hallam and Stacy Paton all earned a perfect 4.0 GPA and were named to the President’s List. Those four, plus freshman Michelle Jax, received Dean’s List recognition (3.5 or higher).

The following team members were named to the athletic department’s 3.0+ Club: Chelsea Connor, Tara Cripe, Paige Lawton, Deanna Loafman, Lindsay Lucas, Helen Mann, Candice Patrick, Vanessa Penates and Sarah Veazey.
