Bowling Green, KY - The Florida Atlantic University women's cross country team had a sixth-place finish while the men captured eighth-place honors in the Sun Belt Conference Championships on Saturday at Bowling Green, Ky.

Senior Rebecca Hallam earned all-conference honors with a ninth-place finish in 18:21.5, and freshman Michelle Jaxrecorded an 11th place showing in 18:31.4.

Senior Stacy Paton finished 30th out of the 82 competitors, completing the course in 19:36.6. Junior Lindsay Lucasrecorded a 19:41.5 time to finish 37th and round out the Owls' performers.

On the men's side, junior Ryan Davis was FAU's highest finisher with a 28th-place finish in 26:53.5. Sophomore Michael Neel placed 40th in 27:41.7 while junior Josh Wolferounded out the performers with a 48th place showing in 28:05.7.

Western Kentucky University won both the men's and women's SBC cross country championships on their home course.
