ORLANDO, FL - Florida Atlantic University's cross country team took part in the Disney World Invitational over the weekend.

The women were led by freshman Charlene Luxama, who finished 176th overall in 21:26.80. Patricia Gumbs followed closely in 21:36.46, good for 185th overall. Senior Linn Modin ran a 22:36.65 (240th), followed by Brittany Vollmer, who finished 285th in 23:46.96. Monica Murillo rounded out the field for the Owls with a time of 24:48.53, placing 306th.

The men were led by David Rundio who finished 185th in 29:58.21. He was closely followed by Daniel Phillips, who ran a 30:13.48 to finish 191st. Brandon Berwick ran a 32:06.20 to place 213th. Timothy McClellan (32:10.47, 247th) and Casey Gaus (34:27.28, 278th) rounded out the runners for the men.
