Junior (2008 Cross Country): Opened the cross-country season at the Miami Greentree Invitational, capturing first place honors in the 4-mile event, crossing in 21:02.18 and setting a new school record in the event. This marked his first career college victory in cross country. Reeves helped lead the team to a close, second place finish, outrunning the University of Miami and Florida Gulf Coast University. At the Gator Invitational (9/21/08) hosted by the University of Florida, Reeves was again the high finisher crossing the line in 11th place with a time of 25:55.72. On the men's side, Reeves broke the school record in the 8K, becoming the first Owl to break 26 minutes at that distance, also with a one minute and three second personal record. The next week at the FSU invitational (9/28) in Tallahassee, Reeves broke his own school record (lowering it by 12 seconds) set the previous week, finishing 2nd overall in 25:43.07. The highlight of the season came at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Auburn University. Reeves set the school record in the men's 8K finishing 67th in 24:36.23. It is the third time this season that Reeves has set the school record in the event and he became the first owl to break 25 minutes for the 8-kilometer distance. After a week off from racing, placed first overall at the Stetson Hatter Invitational, running 26:17 and defeated the second place finisher by three seconds. This marked the second time this season Reeves captured an individual title. The mens' squad finished 2nd out of 13 teams overall. At the 2008 Sun Belt Conference Championship in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Reeves was the high finisher for the men's team, taking 23rd place in 26:58.29 on the hilly course. Also ran an out of season 4:27 road mile at the 2008 Boca Raton Holiday Mile, finishing first overall for the second consecutive year. Reeves concluded the cross country season holding the 8k, 5mile, and 4 mile school records, and as a part of track, holds school records in the 1500 meters, 3000 meters, 5000 meters.
(2009 Outdoor Track): Ran an offseason local road mile at the Boca Raton Holiday Mile (12/10), finishing first for the second straight year, in 4:27.5. Opened up the track season indoors at the Jimmy Cairnes UF Meet (2/7) as the top collegiate in the 3000M, running an 8:40.36 and setting the school record in the event. He followed this performance by running a personal record of 15:06.71 in the 5000m at the UNF Spring Break Open (3/7), placing 5th overall and lowering his own school record by 13 seconds. Followed this up by running another PR of 8:40.04 in the outdoor 3000m at the FAU Invitational (3/14), placing second overall. This lowered the outdoor 3000M school record by 8 seconds. Participated the next weekend at the Miami Hurricane Invitational (3/21), placing first overall with a PR of 9:33.90 in the 3000m steeple chase. This broke the school record in the event by roughly 35 seconds and marked the fourth school record in as many races for Reeves for the season. Concluded the racing season by pulling off a tough double at the Miami Elite Invitational (4/11), by running the 1500 in 3:59.79 and placing second overall, and coming back an hour -and-a-half later and running a season best time of 1:57.96 in the 800M, placing 13th overall and first in his heat. His 1500M time lowered his own school record by 5 seconds and marks the first time an FAU runner has broken 4 minutes for the distance. Ran an 800M time trial on 4/16 and was timed by head coach Alex Smolka in 1:56.77. Ended the racing season breaking five more school records (3000M indoors, 3000M outdoors, 3000M steeplechase, 1500M, and 5000M), and this marked the 16th different time that Reeves has broken a school record in his 3 years of eligibility in cross country and track at Florida Atlantic University.
Sophomore (2007 Cross Country): Opened the season finishing 38th in 26:58.80 to lead the FAU men at the UF Gator Invite, setting a personal best in the 8K. Faced the stiffest competition of the season at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing 128th in 27:08 to lead the FAU men, after missing much of the early part of the season. Ran 27:12 at the Stetson Hatter Invitational (10/13), placed 31st in 27:27.92 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (10/28), and concluded the season leading the owls with a 105th place finish in 34:52.47 (10k) to lead the FAU men at the NCAA South Regional. Also ran an out-of-season 4:34 road mile at the Boca Raton Holiday Mile, finishing first overall.
(2008 Outdoor Track):Opened the season at the FAU Inaugural Twilight meet with a school record 3000 meters of 9:04.26, good enough for third place. Took this momentum to the Miami Hurricane Invitational (3/23), setting a personal best in the 5k (15:43.90). Also set a new school record in the 1,500 meters (4:10.73), completing a tough double. After being rained out of the Florida Relays 5k, saw action at the Miami Elite Invitational, bettering his own school record in the 3k, crossing the line in 8:48.85, good enough for third place overall. Set a new school record in the 1,500 meters, crossing the finish line in 4:04.96 at the Miami Hurricane Challenge (3/30), Concluded the season winning the All-Class Champions Showdown 5k, held at the Holy Trinity Academy in Melbourne, Florida, finishing first overall with a new school record time of 15:19.30. Also ran an out-of-season mile road race, getting first place overall with a time of 4:32 at the Freedom Fest Mile in Port St. Lucie. Ended the season holding three school records (1500M, 3000M, and 5000M)
Freshman (2006 Cross Country): Entered freshman campaign coming off of off-season knee surgery. Forced to sit out the Owls first three cross-country meets. Finished season with an 8k pr of 28:20.35 at the Sun Belt Conference Championships (10/28) finishing 50th, never fully recovering from a six-month absence from running.
(2007 Outdoor Track): Set a freshman record in the 1500 meters at the Florida Relays by running a 4:12.73. Ran 1:59 in the 800 Meters at the UCF Twilight meet, good enough for third place. Concluded the season holding the 1500-meter school record and the freshman 800-meter record.
High School: Attended South Fork High School in Stuart, Florida. Earned varsity letters in soccer, cross country, and track and field. Three-year captain in soccer, three-year captain in cross-country, and two-year captain in Track. Graduated holding seven school records. Awarded a Pathfinder Scholarship for Athletics and was eighth in the state as a senior in the 1600 meters. Graduated top 10 in high school class of 451 students with an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.Member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Christian Fellowship Club, Student Government, and Interact Club.
