ORLANDO, FL -- Despite their best runner resting on the sidelines, the Florida Atlantic University women's cross country team was still able to finish second overall at the Disney Invitiational.
The men's team placed 23rd, led by Jon DelCegno once again. He has been the most consistent for FAU on the men's side. His time of 28:18.72 was good enough for 77th place.
On the women's side, Raynell Hagberg sat out the race with a slight illness. Linn Modin picked up the slack, and ran a 5k time of 19:01.94 and finished 16th. Trisha Doyle was not far behind in 21st place with a time of 19:12.67. Elodie Mouthon, in one of her best performances in her young career, ran a time of 19:28.30 for a 25th place finish.
