Clemson, SC - Florida Atlantic University's 4X4 captured the Orange and Purple Invitational hosted by Clemson University, late Saturday.

The relay team of Helenor Wilson, Raynell Hagberg, Dequia McCoy and Marilyn Stephens set a new school record and won the 4X4 in a time of 3:47.93.

Top times were also turned in the 4X1 relay comprised of Jian Jones, McCoy, Wilson and Stephens. The quartet ran a 46.80 for a third place finish.

Individually, Jones ran a 11.96 to finish fifth in the 100 meter. McCoy finished seventh in a time of 12.12 and Stephens eighth in 12.20.

Hagberg ran a sixth place time of 2:13.47 in the 800 meter while Wilson finished the 400 in 1:04.46. The200 saw Stephens finished eighth in 24.43 and Jones tenth in 24.65. The Owls will next compete at the East Regionals, May 27 and 28.
