GAINESVILLE, FL - Helen Mann recorded a personal record in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Florida Relays over the weekend.
Mann's time (11:48.20/20th) in the event set a personal record by more than 15 seconds and is the third best time in the conference in that event this season. Lisa-Marie Leutner also ran well in first meet of the outdoor season, finishing 22nd in the 1,500 meters in 4:38.97, her time is 4th best in the Sun Belt this season. Volunteer assistant coach Jordan Zwick set a personal record in the men's 5,000 meters running unattached.
Several members of the men's cross country team set personal records while running in the Spikes' Classic held at Embry-Riddle in Daytona Beach.
FAU will compete in the Hurricane Invitational, hosted by the University of Miami next weekend.
