Sophomore: First meet of the year was the outdoor UM Hurricane Invitational, running the 1,500 (5:16.80) and 5,000 (19:34.13) meter events...ran the 1,500 at the UCF Invitational as well, in 5:07.24...ran a 2:29.67 in the 800 meters and a 5:08.96 in the 1,500 meters at the UM Alumni Invite.
Freshman: Competed in her first meet for FAU, the indoor Jimmy Carnes Invitational, in the 1-mile run (6:04.12)...at the outdoor FAU Invitational, ran the 400 meters (1:06.41) and was eighth in the 800 meters (2:34.72)...improved her 800 time to 2:30.55 at the Miami Hurricane Invitational...also ran the 1,500 there (5:11.69)...ran her first 5,000 meters at the UCF Invitational, finishing sixth at 20:37.45...ran a faster 1,500 at the Hurricane Alumni Invitational, a 5:09.45, and a faster 5,000 as well, 20:10.61.
