It's only been a few weeks since indoor track season began yet freshman Ronja Siekmann has already shown that she plans to be a top performer for the Owls. Siekmann broke into FAU's all-time top-10 in two events last weekend at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational in Gainesville. She is now third all-time in the long jump with 5.49m record and fourth all-time in the 55-meter hurdle with a final time of 08.13. Siekmann will compete in her third collegiate meet this weekend.
The track team leaves Florida for the first time this season for the Akron Invitational in Ohio on February 1-2 before competing in Boston on February 8 at the BU Valentine Invitational.
