FAU Take First Place in 10 Events against Denver
Eszter Bucz Takes 1st Place by More than a Second in Women's 200 yd IM

Florida Atlantic's swimming and diving teams competed in a dual meet against University of Denver on Wednesday, December 19 at Hall of Fame. The Owls finished the meet winning 10 - events against the Denver Pioneers.

Agnes Bucz, Eszter Bucz, and Eric Williams each won two events for FAU. Agnes Bucz won the women's 200 yard freestyle (1:53.09) and the women's 100 yard freestyle (52.47). Eszter Bucz finished first by more than a second in the women's 200 yard individual medley (2:06.35) and in the women's 200 yard breaststroke (2:20.27). Williams claimed victories in both the men's 50 yard freestyle (21.29) and men's 100 yard freestyle (46.30).

Florida Atlantic took four more wins with Shannon Potter in the women's 3 meter diving, Tyler Aycock in the men's 3 meter diving, Alan Forbes in the men's 200 yard breaststroke, and the men's 200 yard freestyle relay. The Owls men's and women's teams finished second to the Denver with scores of 90 and 88, respectively.
