After the second day of competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational, the Florida Atlantic University's men's and women's swim teams remained in fourth and sixth place, respectively. Geni Burts picked up a win for the Owls in the 400 IM after touching the wall in 4:24.58.
In the 100 breast, Ellie Weberg picked up 14 points with a fifth place finish. Also advancing to the `A' final was Liz Gregory who placed eighth with a time of 1:07.46.
The 400 medley relay team of Rich Marzonie, Kyle DeCicco, Kenny Anderson and Eren Onurlu earned a fourth place finish with a time of 1:34.47. Marzonie and Anderson picked up more points in the 100 back (52.61) and 100 fly (49.71), respectively. Marzonie took fifth while Anderson had the highest finish of any of the men with a runner-up finish in the 100 fly.
The men also picked up points in the 100 breast as they placed 10th through 13th and 15-16. DeCicco, Christian Baker, Eric Finn, Nick Gleason, Sebastian Lambico and Kyle Myers got on the scoreboard for the Owls.
