Nov. 18, 2007 ATLANTA, GA - The Florida Atlantic University swimming and diving teams competed at the Georgia Tech Invitational. The women finished 7th in the team competition. Lauren Shue had the highest individual finish for the Owls, placing 2nd in the 1650 yard freestyle in a provisional qualifying time of 16:42.33. Lindsay Alexander added an 8th place finish in the 100 yard backstroke.
The men placed 6th in the team standings, the men's performance was bolstered by a 34 point performance in the 800 yard freestyle relay, where the two FAU relay teams finished in 8th and 11th place, respectively.
