In the final day of action at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, Florida Atlantic University fell to Georgia Tech and Purdue in a tri meet. Kenny Anderson and Richard Marzonie placed second and third in the 100 butterfly with times of 51.60 and 51.87, respectively for the men.
Marzonie and Anderson teamed with Travis Howard and Russell Watkins in the 200-medley relay to place second in 1:35.05. Howard later came through with a third place finish in the 200 breaststroke after he touched the wall in 2:07.73.
For the women, Ellie Weberg earned runner-up honors in the 200 breaststroke (2:23.81) along with the 400 free relay team of Emma Petersson, Jacqueline Beitel, Boguslawa Bedyk and Lisa Andersson (3:30.71).
Elizabeth Gregory also finished in the top-five in the 200 breast with a time of 2:27.27.
Geni Burts and Lisa Anderson both picked up third place finishes in the 500 freestyle (5:04.11) and 100 freestyle (52.84), respectively.
The swim teams will travel to the Minnesota Invitational on Friday for the three-day event.
