Andrea VanDerPlaats
	Class: Senior Hometown: North Fort Myers, FL High School: North Fort Myers HS Height: 5-7 Position: 500/1000 Freestyle Birthdate: 01/17/1982 Major: Art/Education

As a sophomore (`01-'02): At the NIC Championships she placed in the top-three in each event that she was entered in. She won the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 16:56.05 and placed second in the 400-yard IM (4:28.52). Both were season-best times. She was a member of the 800-yard freestyle team that placed third. During the season she won the 1000 free in five meets.

Freshman season:Named team MVP.

High School: Swam for coach Julie VanDerPlaats at North Fort Myers High School. A two sport athlete: swimming and track. 4-time team MVP and holder of 5 school records.

Personal: A member of the Swim Florida Team. Daughter of Andrew and Julie VanDerPlaats. Born in West Palm Beach, FL.
