Junior ('06-'07): Posted team season-bests in four different events (200 free, 500 free, 1000 free, 1650 free) during the campaign...set three personal-bests at Sun Belt Championships...won conference title in 500 free by shattering her all-time personal-best (4:51.55)...claimed conference crown in 200 free (1:50.53), as FAU took all three top spots in the event...nailed down third individual championship in a dominating 1650 free performance (16:29), beating the field by more than 22 seconds as FAU took four of the top five spots in the event...anchor leg of 2nd place 800 free relay team at SBC (7:32.70)...second leg of 3rd place 400 free relay team at SBC (3:29.43)...set season-best time in 1000 free with a 10:01.97 in her victory at Georgia Tech (1/13/07).
Sophomore ('05-'06): Conference champion in the 1650 free after posting a time of 16:42.75...placed fourth in the 500 free at the SBC Championships (4:55.71)...one of three FAU swimmers to advance to the `A' Final of the 400 IM where she earned a seventh place finish...posted her season-best time of 4:34.23 in the prelims... part of the conference champion 800 free relay time that posted a time of 7:29.76...was named Sun Belt Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 25 after winning the 500 free (4:59.01) and 100 free (10:13.48) at Florida State.
Freshman ('04-'05): Swam for the University of Miami where she held the fastest times on the team in the 500, 1000 and 1650 free...at the ACC Championships she swam a 16:46.23 in the 1650 free and recorded top times of 10:14.16 in the 1000 and a time of 4:59.96 in the 500 free.
High School: Swam for Mac Kennedy and Jeneane Overman at Fort Myers High School where she was a 15-time All-Conference recipient, 12-time District Champion, seven-time All-American, the 2001 High School Swimmer of the Year, 2003 State Champion in the 500 free and the runner-up in the 200 free...named to the Fort Myers News Press All-Area Team for four years, senior captain of the squad.
Personal: Elementary education major...born June 16, 1986, in Wilmington, DE...daughter of Gene and Laura Shue...father played football and two brothers swam in college.
