As a Junior (’02-’03): Team captain…part of the 400free, 800 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays that broke school records at the NIC Championships…placed second in the 200 IM (2:05.62) and the 100 fly (56.62) the NIC Championships…in the 100 free she picked up a fifth place finish after she touched the wall in 51.44.
As a Sophomore (’01-’02): Won the 200 freestyle in two out of the first three meets of the season and against at the FAU Invitational (1:57.29)…recorded her fastest time in the 200 IM at the conference meet with a time of 2:04.28, which was good for a second-place finish…swam a season-best 51.40 in the 100 free at the conference meet to place seventh.
High School: Attended Kungsmadskolan High School….two-sport athlete: swimming and soccer
Personal: Business Marketing major…born September 2, 1981 in Sweden…daughter of Ingvar and Ann Christin Petersson.
