As a Junior ('05-'06): Part of the 200-yard free relay that broke the schoo, Sun Belt and Sun Belt Championship records with a time of 1:20.85...set individual school, Sun Belt and Sun Belt Championship records with a `B' cut time of 20.18 in the 50 free...conference champion in the 100 free with a `B' cut time of 44.54...part of the 200 and 400 medley relay teams that won conference titles with times of 1:30.59 and 3:20.09, respectively...completed the FAU sweep of the 100 fly with a third place finish in 50.04...named Sun Belt Swimmer of the Week on Jan. 11 after winning the 50 free (21.81) and 100 free (47.72) at the FAU Winter Invite.
As a Sophomore ('04-'05): Placed third in the 100 free at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 46.08... part of the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay that won the conference championship and set the Sun Belt records with times of 1:30.24 and 1:22.44, respectively...the time in the 200 medley relay broke the FAU record...finished fourth in the 50 free with a time of 20.74 at the conference championships...after the season he swam at the Turkish Nationals and earned three first place finishes, a second place finish and was a member of the 400-medley relay that broke the Turkish National record...he won the 50-meter free (22.86), 100 meter free (50.56) and 50 meter butterfly (24.96)...his performance allowed him to participated in the World University Games.
Previous School: Swam at the University of Florida his freshman season under Gregg Troy...swam the 50 free (24.15) and 100 free (53.96) at the 2004 U.S. Spring Nationals.
Other: Swam for Turkey in the 2003 European Junior Championships...Holds four Turkish national records for 50-SCM free (23.16), 50- SCM fly (25.51), 50-LCM fly (25.88) and the 400-lCM free (3:31.44).
High School: Attended Isik High School and swam for Hakan Eskioglu...2002 high school state champion in the 50-LCM free, 50-LCM fly and 100-SCM free.
