More than 250 FAU Student-Athletes Earn a GPA of 3.0 or Greater for Fall 2012 Semester

Eight student-athletes were named to the president's list after earning a perfect 4.0 GPA for fall 2012.

Junior ('10-'11): Had a season-best fifth place finish in the 100-yard backstroke against Miami...her 1:05.02 time in that race was her lowest of the season...set two season-best times against Florida State, in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke.

High school: Was an All-American water polo player at Northeast High School.

Personal: Mechanical Engineering major...daughter of Mohamed and Patricia Gargum.
