Sophomore (2016-17)

  • Claimed sixth place in the 200 fly (1:50.39) and 11th in the 100 fly (49.85) at CCSA Championships with new personal bests and set two additional lifetime bests at conference
  • Had first-place finishes in the 200 fly (1:55.43) versus CCSA opponent Gardner-Webb and as part of the 400 medley relay (3:41.72) against Denver
  • Finished fifth in the 200 fly (1:51.34) at George Mason’s Patriot Invitational
  • Top finisher for the Owls taking fourth in the 200 fly (1:54.93) against Georgia Tech and Cincinnati
  • Named to the FAU All-Academic team and the Dean’s List for Fall 2016 and to the 2016-17 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

  • A member of the 200-Medley Relay team that set a new freshman school record at the CCSA Championships with a time of 1:34.70

High School

  • Attended A.W. Drefoos School of Arts in West Palm Beach and competed for Rachelle Rubin
  • Was the captain of his high school team where he broke the school record in the 100m Fly by 2.5 seconds
  • All-County team for the sun sentinel and second team for palm beach county


  • Majoring in accounting with a professional goal of becoming a CPA
  • Son of Thomas and Erica Rahrig
  • Set the 400 medley relay record for boys 13-14 in the Florida LSC long course
