As a Junior (’02-’03): Team captain…voted hardest worker for the third straight season and won the MVP award for the second time…broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke (54.85), 200 breaststroke (1:59.31) with a B cut time and was part of the 400 medley relay that broke the FAU record (3:19.68) at the NIC Championships…also swam a season-best 1:52.41 in the 200 IM for a sixth place finish at the conference meet...qualified for the 2004 Olympic Trials Qualifier after swimming the 100 breast in 1:04. 17 under the cut time of 1:04.29 at the ConocoPhillips National Swimming Championships.
As a Sophomore (’01-’02): Voted hardest worker and MVP…placed seventh in the 200 IM (1:54.22), fifth in the 100 breaststroke (56.01), and sixth in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.14) at the NIC Championships
As a Freshman (’00-’01): FAU freshman record holder in the 100 breaststroke…voted by his teammates and coaches as the hardest worker.
High School: Swam for Clay Parnell at Lake Brantley High School…two-sport athlete: swimming and water polo…two-time State Championship honors in water polo…captured the 1999 high school 100-meter breaststroke…was runner-up in the 200 IM…named All-America in the 100 meter breaststroke and earned Honorable Mention honors in the 200 IM…earned All-America honors in water polo.
Personal: Double majoring in Marketing and Management major…born December 21, 1981 in Orlando, FL…son of Tammy Davis and Alan Howard.
