As a Junior ('01-'02): Earned three fourth place finishes at the NIC Championships, all were season-best times; 100-yard breaststroke (55.61-B cut time), 200-yard breaststroke (2:02.66) and the 200-yard medley relay (1:31.85).

As a Sophomore ('00-'01): Competed after sitting out a year at LSU. Had consideration times for NCAA.

As a Freshman (‘99-‘00): Swam well in his first collegiate season. Swam in the backstroke event in almost every meet.
