Freshman ('10-'11): Had three top-10 finishes in the 200-yard freestyle to round out the regular season...finished eighth against Florida, seventh against Nova Southeastern and eighth against Daytona Beach State College...had three season-low times in the season's first meet, the All-Florida Invitational.

High School: Was named most improved swimmer as a sophomore and senior...participated in 2008 state championship meet...had perfect attendance all four years of high school...swam for coach Lisa Bittins.

Personal: Ocean Engineering major...son of Nicholas and Cindy Gettino...hobbies include Ultimate Frisbee.
