Senior (2015-16):

  • Participated in every meet this season
  • Swam her best meet of the season at the Georgia Tech Invite, placing 11th in the 200 IM in an NCAA “B” qualifying time of 2:01.47.
  • In addition, she also swam a 1:50.38 in the 200 Free and a 50.44 in 100 Free at the meet.
  • Her time in the 100 free is ranked number three overall in the conference.
  • 200 IM is ranked second in the conference.
  • Her 200 free ranked 10th overall in the Conference USA.
  • In the 2016 C-USA Championships she finished top three in the 100 free (50.32), second in the 200 IM (2:01.11) – setting a lifetime best in this event and new school record.
  • She also placed third in the 200 free relay (1:33.79), and placed fourth in the 200 free recording a time of 1:49.43 at the C-USA Championships.
  • Set the FAU School Record in the 100 IM (56.41) at the 2016 C-USA Prelims.
  • A member of the 2016 C-USA Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team.
  • Member of the C-USA Commissioners Honor Roll.

Junior (2014-15):

  • 25 first-place finishes, 10 second-place finishes, and five third-place finishes this season…only member of the FAU squad to qualify and attend NCAA Championships.
  • 100 free: first place at C-USA Championships, 49.01, holds the best time in the conference and broke the FAU record for the second time this year.
  • 200 free: first place at C-USA Championships, 1:45.58, holds the best time in the conference and broke the FAU record for the second time.
  • 50 free: second place at C-USA Championships, 22.95, holds the second best time in the conference.
  • Part of the 400 free relay (third in C-USA) and 800 free relay teams (second in C-USA) that broke the school records at conference with times of 3:22.97 and 7:14.70, respectively.
  • Broke her own 100 and 200 free records for the first time at the 2014 Georgia Tech Invitational and set NCAA B qualifying times of 49.53 and 1:46.54, respectively.
  • Named FAU Female Athlete of the Year.

Sophomore (2013-14):

  • Set school records and had second-place finishes in the 200 free (1:47.47) and 100 free (49.78) at the Conference USA Swimming and Diving Championship.
  • Finished fourth place in the 500 free (4:49.94) at the C-USA Swimming and Diving Championship.
  • Brought in two first place finishes in the 2014 FIU Invitational in the 100 and 200 freestyle.

Freshman (2012-13):

  • Set her individual top time for the season in the 50 yard free (23.67) at dual meet at Daytona Beach State College.
  • Set personal records and took first-place finishes in the 100 free (50.62) and 200 free (1:48.16) at the 2013 Sun Belt Conference Swimming and Diving Championship.
  • Both SBC Championship times ranked her first on the team for the season in the two events.
  • Finished third in the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:24.42) at the SBC Championships.
  • First place in the 200 yard individual medley against the University of Denver (2:06.35) and the 200 yard backstroke (2:20.27).
  • Received academic honors for student-athletes who earned a GPA of 3.0 or greater during the fall 2012 semester.

  • Attended ELTE Radnóti Miklós.


  • Majoring in finance.
  • Daughter of Peter Pal Bucz and Katalin Buczne, her sister, Eszter graduated from FAU in the spring 2012 and swam for FAU competing at the NCAA tournament her senior year.
