As a Junior ('05-'06): Advanced to the `A' final of the 500 free at the conference championships were he placed fifth in a season-best of three FAU swimmers to advance to the finals of the 200 breast...finished fifth with a time of 2:08.26...season-best time of 2:03.48 came in the prelims...earned a third-place finish in the 1650 free with a time of 5:91.73 at the Sun Belt Championships...voted as the team's hardest worker.

As a Sophomore ('04-'05): Took third in the 1650 free at the Sun Belt Championships with a season-best 15:52.52...advanced to the finals of the 500 free at the conference championships and placed eighth with a time of 4:39.62, fastest on the team for the year...swam a season-best 1:45.17 in the 200 free to advance to the finals.

As a Freshman ('03-'04): Finished third in the 200 breast at the FSU Invitational with a time of 2:12.58...earned a fifth place finish in the 100 breast at the Minnesota Invitational (58.77), sixth in the 1650 free (16:12.07)...won the 200 breast (2:13.28) and 500 free (4:48.36) at a dual meet with the College of Charleston and UNLV... won the 1000 free at the FAU Invite with a time of 9:53.53...swam a season-best 4:38.85 in the prelims of the 500 free at the NIC Championships....placed third in the 1650 free at NICs with a season-best 15:56.89 and swam a season-best 2:07.03 in the 200 breast.

High School: Attended Rickards High School where he was coached by Terry Maul...holds seven school records and was named to the All-Area team four times...received All-State recognition his junior year and All-America honors his senior season.

Other: Swam for the Area Tallahassee Aquatic Club.

Personal: Ocean engineering major...born June 4, 1984, in Lockhaven, PA...son of Kenneth and Mary Baker...hobbies include playing the cello.
