As a Junior ('04-'05): Part of the 200 medley relay that broke the school record and set a pool record at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 1:30.24...placed third in the 100 fly in 49.99... a member of the 200 and 400 free relays that won the conference championships and set the Sun Belt records with times of 1:22.44 and 3:02.50, respectively...swam the 50 free in a season-best 21.40 to place eighth at the conference championships...also posted season-best times in the 200 free (1:43.20) to advance to the the 100 fly he earned five top-three finishes and swam a season-best at the Georgia Tech Invite with a time of 49.71 to finish second.

As a Sophomore ('03-'04): Swam 51.15 in the 100 fly for a third place finish at the FSU Invitational...finished second in the 100 fly (51.60) in a dual meet with Georgia Tech and Purdue...placed fourth at the Minnesota Invitational in the 100 fly (50.05), sixth in the 100 free (46.57)...swam a season-best 49.74 in the finals of the 100 fly for a seventh place finish and a 46.41 in the 100 free at the NIC Championships...earned sixth place in the 200 fly with a season-best 1:53.04 at NICs.

As a Freshman ('02-'03): Part of the 200 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays that broke the school records at the NIC Championships...also swam in the 100 and 200 fly where he posted swam season-bests of 49.68 and 1:55.2.

High School: Coached by Cindy Tinsley at Terry Parker High School...captain of the team his senior year...three-time All-Conference recipient and placed second at state his sophomore and junior seasons in the 100 fly and third his senior year...finished fifth in the 50 free three times.

Other: Swam for the Beaches Aquatic Club.

Personal: Finance major...born March 1, 1984, in Jacksonville, FL...son of Dan and Joy Crutchfield...hobbies are water sports, surfing and trucks.
