Oliver Agh joined the Florida Atlantic University coaching staff in 2006 as an assistant coach and aquatics manager. A former FAU swimmer and team captain in 1998-99, Agh has international experience that is beneficial to the program. A native of Hungary, Agh was a member of the Hungarian National Swim Team from 1989-2000 and participated in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Games. "As a former two-time Olympian, NCAA Division I Finalist, and National Team member for Hungary, Agh brings a wealth of experience that will benefit our swimmers," said head coach Steve Eckelkamp. "As a former FAU swimmer and alum, he has the kind of personal insights that will also help the swimmers adjust and excel at FAU." Swimming accomplishments: After competing at FAU for four seasons, he stayed with the team as a Graduate Assistant (1999-2000). Agh graduated with a bachelor's of science in 2000, and continued his education receiving MBA degrees in 2003 (E-commerce) and 2009 (Operations Management). In the fall of 2007, Agh was inducted into the FAU Athletics Hall of Fame. |
