CCSA Names 10 FAU Men’s Swimming & Diving Members to the Honor Roll

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University men’s swimming and diving had 10 members named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Honor Roll for Fall 2016 as announced by the league on Tuesday.

The individuals below earned a 3.0 grade point average or higher for the Fall 2016 semester. They also performed well in the pool and helped lead the men’s team to a fourth-place finish at the 2017 CCSA Swimming and Diving Championships.

“I am incredibly proud of all the hard work our 10 swimmers and divers have invested in the classroom and on the pool deck,” said Head Swim and Dive Coach Lara Preacco. “They have continuously showed, that with determination and perseverance, great results and honors can be accomplished. Go Owls!”

Connor Hodges, Connor Smoak and Aaron Spence also received the Conference USA (C-USA) Commissioner’s Academic Medal in April for earning a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. Nine of the 10 Owls also were named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
