Jacqueline C. Perez joined the SACAE staff as a Learning Specialist in January 2014 and she was elevated to Assistant Director in the fall of 2016. She is responsible for providing academic support and monitoring academic success for student-athletes with learning disabilities or those that are struggling academically.
A native of South Florida, Perez holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from FAU. She also attended FAU for her undergraduate studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Political Science with a tract in Global Governance and Interdisciplinary Studies: Social Sciences and minors in Peace Studies and Ethics, Law and Society.
Before joining the SACAE, Jacqueline worked as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science and served as a mentor for the SACAE program. As a published academic, Jacqueline is dedicated to assisting students toward their success in the classroom.
In her free time, Jackie loves to spend time with her family, travel and is an avid horseback rider. She resides in Boca Raton with her husband, Michael O'Neill, and their dogs.
