Florida Atlantic University softball has seen the best start in school history after defeating Stephen F. Austin 8-0 and Northwestern State 3-2 on Friday. The team is now 15-1 on the season, and the previous best start was during the 1998 season when the team went 13-1.

Eight unanswered runs with the help of six doubles guided the Florida Atlantic University baseball team to a 9-5 comeback victory over Monmouth on Friday night.

Florida Atlantic University men's golf team won its first tournament of the season, the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational hosted by Bethune-Cookman, with a final score of 902 after three rounds of play.

Florida Atlantic University's track and field team saw its first conference champion after Frida Thorsås claimed victory in the pentathlon on Thursday at the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championship. The team as a whole broke five school records.

Florida Atlantic University softball (15-2) fell 4-0 to Stephen F. Austin in their second meeting during the Purple and Gold Challenge hosted by LSU on Saturday.

Florida Atlantic University's men's golf team is in first place after playing 36 holes in the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational hosted by Bethune-Cookman on Friday.

Florida Atlantic women's tennis beat Oakland University 7-0 on Friday in Orlando, FL to bring their record to 3-3 on the season. The match originally scheduled for play in Palm City, FL was moved to Orlando because of weather.

Florida Atlantic men's tennis played two home matches on Friday winning both in convincing fashion 7-0. The Owls faced Bethune Cookman in the early match and then returned to the court to beat St. Thomas University 7-0 as well.

An 18-2 second half Hilltopper run was the key in the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team's 71-68 loss to Western Kentucky on Thursday night.
