Meneftha Pierre joined the Florida Atlantic University department of athletics in the fall of 2016 as the assistant to the Director of Athletics. She took on this position while working towards her Master of Business in Administration in the world-ranked Sport MBA program Pierre is a proven multi-tasker. Along with her fulltime work and school schedule, the South Florida native has continued to find ways to better herself.
She has worked with the Fit 2Run and served as an event coordinator in 2016 and served as part of the Miami Dolphins Game Day and Special Event Staff in the fall of 2016.
Pierre is a Brand Ambassador in the Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE). While a student at UCF, she worked as a premium guest services representative for Orlando Magic, worked with the UCF football team as an student ambassador as well as with UCF Housing and Residence Life. She also worked as a tutor for UCF's Academic Service for student-athlete and with Orlando Ronald McDonald House.
Pierre has served internship roles with the American Heart Association, Amateur Athletic Union UCF Athletics and Hoop Culture. Most recently, she attended the U.S. Olympic Committee Finding Leaders Among Minorities Everywhere Program. She also holds memberships with the Women in Sports and Events and the National Black MBA Association.
Pierre earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in human communication with a minor in sport business from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2015. She is currently pursuing her master's degree at FAU.
