Lauren Martorano has been named Florida Atlantic University's Football Stadium Campaign Development Coordinator.
Martorano has been brought in for assistance in the marketing efforts for the new 30,000-seat on-campus football stadium. Some of her responsibilities include: preparing gift agreements, assisting with capital campaign prospect identification and management, coordinate donor communications and support capital campaign committees amongst other responsibilities.
An alumna of FAU, Martorano joins the university staff after graduating in 2008 with a Business Administration degree and accumulating successful marketing and advertising experience in the past few years.
In 2009, Martorano worked at Zimmerman Advertising Agency as an account coordinator to nationally recognized clients. At Zimmerman she gained experience in advertising mediums such as print, radio, TV, direct mail and online. Prior to FAU in 2010, Martorano worked at Wellness Research & Consulting where she was a marketing assistant. In her position, she coordinated the marketing of the practice through ad development and placements, along with measuring and analyzing sales results. She also managed the layout and scheduling of email promotions and newsletters for in-house sends, joint-ventures and paid placements.
The FAU stadium is the centerpiece of FAU's Innovation Village, located in the north central area of campus. Home of the Owl football team, the open-air stadium, a $70 million project, is slated to feature 6,000 premium seats, including 24 suites, 26 loge boxes, 1,000 premier club seats and 4,000 priority club seats, and the latest, state-of-the-art amenities.
