Katelyn Stegall joined the Florida Atlantic University athletic training room staff in May of 2016 as a graduate student seeking her Master’s degree in exercise science and health promotion. While furthering her degree, Stegall serves as the athletic trainer for volleyball and beach volleyball while assisting with swimming and diving, softball, men’s and women’s soccer and both tennis programs.
Prior to FAU, Stegall gained her undergraduate training at the University of South Carolina where she graduated Cum Laude in May of 2016 with a bachelor of science in athletic training. While there, she worked with Gamecock volleyball, track and field, and football. She also gained clinical hours at Cardinal Newman School, Drayer Physical Therapy Clinic, Richland Northeast High School, Brookland Cayce High School and volunteered at ATEP 267 Clinical Foundation Assistant at USC, the Governor’s Cup Road Race, SC SCISA State Wrestling Tournament, SCISA State Bowling Tournament, and the Beachball Classic Basketball Tournament.
Stegall holds certifications and memberships as a certified athletic trainer, in Blood Borne pathogens, and in Virtus National Catholic Church Risk Retention, is a licensed athletic trainer in the state of Florida, an American Red Cross professional rescuer, and is licensed with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
