Erin Case joined the staff of the Student-Athlete Center for Academic Excellence in August 2011. As an academic counselor, she works primarily with men's and women's swimming and diving, men's and women's cross country, women's indoor and outdoor track and field, as well as the dance and cheer teams.
Prior to Erin's arrival at FAU, she served as the Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. During her 4 1/2 years at Baylor, she helped ensure that coaches, student-athletes and staff members adhered to NCAA and Big 12 Conference rules and regulations.
Erin earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of San Diego in 2003. While receiving a full Division I athletic scholarship, she was a successful member of the women's basketball team. After graduation, she played professional basketball in Europe for a team located in the southern region of The Netherlands.
After ending her basketball career, Erin began her athletics administration career at the collegiate level when she was hired as the Compliance Assistant at the University of San Diego in 2006. While at USD, she assisted in various aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Office.
Erin and her husband, David, reside in Delray Beach.
