Blair Zackon joined the Florida Atlantic staff in the fall of 2017 in an effort to lead all external business units within FAU Athletics, including marketing and media relations, as well as both the revenue generating units of ticket sales and corporate partnerships.
Prior to FAU, Zackon led the Bacardi and Under Armour account teams for GMR Marketing and was responsible for driving the strategic planning, brand activation strategy, and full execution of the Bacardi sports, event, and music sponsorship portfolio, as well as Under Armour's activation and strategy against the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Zackon has worked globally for properties such as the UFC, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, the Salt Lake Olympic Committee, and extensively in the South Florida market with previous career stops with the Orange Bowl Committee and the Florida Panthers. He began his career in the athletic department at The Ohio State University, where he received his Bachelor's degree and was a student-athlete. He went on to receive a Masters Degree from the University of Miami.
