Andrew Robinson began working with Florida Atlantic University in July of 2015 as a marketing assistant who concentrates his attention on video.
As an assistant with the FAU marketing department, he is responsible for pitching story ideas, filming, editing and storage for all footage. He has traveled with teams documenting the game and distributing to media outlets postgame as well as creating celebratory and promotional content for both the web and social media platforms.
Robinson held this position while completing his undergraduate degree and also held a part-time position as a video editor for Green Advertising, from April 2016-August 2016. During his final year of undergraduate school, he founded Three Jam Productions LLC & Ryft Media based in Boca Raton.
Prior to FAU, Robinson worked as a broadcast production assistant at Stetson University Broadcasting from September 2014-May 2015. He was responsible for football b-roll footage for the Roger Hughes Show, was a part of ESPN3 productions and he worked as a video specialist for the women’s lacrosse team as well as football. While at Stetson, Robinson served as an intern production assistant for Walt Before Mickey and Fox News Channel in Washington, DC.
Robinson was an honor roll member at Stetson University from 2013-15, captured first place for audio production at Stetson’s Digital Media Festival (2014) and won Gold in Group 1 at NACMA for his 2016 video segment. He also was represented at the 2016 Official Selection Personal Triumph Category for Stories Lived Film Festival.
Robinson earned his Florida Atlantic degree in multimedia studies with a focus on film, video and new media in December 2017.
