Keva Anderson-Konsker joined Florida Atlantic University's Academic/Student Life program in 1999. As an academic counselor, she has continued to be committed to upholding the program's mission assisting every student-athlete reach their academic goal while completing at the highest collegiate level. Anderson-Konsker has been part of the FAU community since 1992 as an undergraduate student. While attending FAU, she stayed busy contributing to her community. She joined the athletic department months after starting college, serving in various capacities ranging from marketing and game operations to serving as a host for distinguished visitors. From representing FAU at national conventions and serving on campus wide committees to starting the first mentoring program matching FAU and Lynn University student-athletes with local at-risk youth, she has always been willing to do what it takes to give back to her alma mater and the community. A California native, Anderson-Konsker has earned two undergraduate degrees from FAU, in Management and Sociology. She also received a certificate in Ethic Studies. In May 2008, Keva earned her master's degree in Sociology from FAU. Her commitment to her own education has served as a model for every student-athlete she works with on a daily basis. Ready for the opportunity to share her passion for community service while promoting leadership, Anderson-Konsker is a member of several professional organizations. In her spare time, she volunteers countless hours to local charities and children organizations. As a local member of Kiwanis International, she works with city and county officials to improve the lives of those in need, especially children. She has served as the faculty/staff advisor for FAU CKI, a student volunteer organization that promotes skills and community service, and the Black Student Union, a Student Government agency committed to enhancing diversity throughout the FAU community. Anderson-Konsker spends her spare time enjoying family, volunteering and traveling. She resides in Boca Raton, FL with her husband and son.
