Ali Costello came to Florida Atlantic in the fall of 2017 as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the men’s soccer and men’s tennis teams.
Prior to FAU, Costello worked as a student trainer at the University of Alabama. While in Tuscaloosa, she worked with the award winning cheerleading program (2016-17), the nationally ranked gymnastics program (2016), the women’s basketball program (2015), crew team (2014), and with football in the summer of 2014. While at UA, she also gained experience by working at Camp Woodward (Pa.) in the summer of 2016, with Holt High School in the fall of 2015 and at the DCH Outpatient Physical Therapy facility in the fall of 2015.
She holds certifications as a Florida licensed athletic trainer, is a certified athletic trainer through the Board of Certification, and is certified in First Aid & CPR through the American Heart Association.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Alabama in May of 2017. She is currently working towards a master’s degree in exercise science with a focus in health promotion and anticipates graduating of May 2019.
