Adam Bennett joined Florida Atlantic University as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in April 2015 tasked primarily to work with football. He worked at Minnesota for the 2016 season and returned to the Owls in 2017 as the head athletic trainer for fooball.
Prior to joining FAU, Bennett spent a year interning with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Athletic Training Department. He assisted with the prevention and rehabilitation of acute athletic injuries.
Bennett spent two years at the University of Southern Mississippi as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for football and women's tennis while earning a master's degree in sport management. He coordinated appropriate exercise guidelines with strength and conditioning personnel for injured athletes, and supervised athletic training students and assisted in teaching curriculum.
While earning a bachelor's of science in athletic training from Florida State, Bennett worked with women's soccer, football, baseball and men's basketball. He also served as a summer intern with the Houston Texans and spent a year as an Exercise Technician at Tallahassee Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy.
Bennett is a Florida State Licensed NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He currently resides in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
