BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's athletics department has teamed with the Aspire Group to develop a Fan Relationship Management Center. The partnership will focus on ticket sales and service for eight FAU ticketed sports with an emphasis on football, as well as men's and women's basketball.
A Fan Relationship Management Center (FRMC) will be housed within FAU's athletics department which will include a manager, three sales consultants, and an intern who will reach out to the FAU community beginning in April.
"Florida Atlantic is pleased to join the Aspire Group's network," said Dexter LaMont, senior associate athletics director for external relations at FAU. "Aspire Group is a proven company built by sport professionals who have a proven track record for driving growth while engaging fans."
The team will be led by Brian Treiser, who will manage the FAU/FRMC partnership. Treiser, a 2007 Florida State University graduate, gained his ticket sales experience with the Miami Heat from 2008-10. He led the Miami Heat ticket staff in sales, generating more than $1 million in revenue for the 2010 season.
FAU football begins a new era under the direction of first-year head coach Carl Pelini. Pelini will lead his team into FAU's on-campus stadium for the 2012 opener on Friday, August 31 when the Owls play host to Wagner College.
FAU welcomed nearly 30,000 fans into the stadium October 15, 2011 for the stadium's grand opening. The Aspire Group will challenge itself to return many of those same fans back to the tropical-themed stadium as season ticket holders.
"The Aspire Group is looking forward to assisting FAU Athletics with proactively building their relationships with the Owl community and to further promote a positive fan experience," said Bill Fagan, general manager and fan relationship manager of the Aspire Group. "The Fan Relationship Management Center will enable FAU to extend their brand and maximize attendance."
