With growing support and mounting program success, FAU Baseball Stadium was constructed in 1991 to provide a new and improved home for the Owls. FAU Stadium is known as the best playing surface in South Florida providing natural grass for optimal game play. Field lighting also allows the opportunity for night games. FAU fans can enjoy the atmosphere along the foul lines, where beach chairs and family fun are a staple. There is not a bad seat in the house as the stands feature chair backs to provide a comfortable viewing experience.
In 2008, the Owls hosted the largest crowd in the history of the ballpark when more than 2,300 fans watched FAU play No. 1 Miami. The team utilizes both FAU Stadium and the "B" field next door (not pictured). The "B" field, which is used as a practice facility, was the original home of the baseball program. The "B" field is a full-size baseball field that provides the Owls unlimited options when it comes to practice and preparation.
